Before practicing, do a relaxation exercise.
Choose one part to begin with. Inhale while squeezing the part tightly, then exhale while relaxing the part.
Do this with your fingers, hands, wrists, forearms, elbows, biceps,shoulders, neck, face, and head. Then move down your body, ending with your feet.
Notice how this affects your playing afterwards.
